• Hi there,

Is there a way to embed the basket icon into my menu/header so that it fits with all the other menu items?

I notice you have it on your site this way https://xootix.com/

    Thanks!

Pro version has a shortcode [xoo_wsc_cart]
For free version, you can use your own icon & provide it a class “xoo-wsc-cart-trigger” to open side cart.

    Hi Xootix,

I’ve provided the cart icon the class: “xoo-wsc-cart-trigger” within menu’s but unfortunately this has not worked. When the icon is clicked it still directs straight to cart.

Is there anything else I should be doing?

Actually scratch that. I was using a wooCommerce cart icon and I think the hooks were overiding the class I’d given it.

I just replaced the woocommerce cart with the normal cart page, gave it your class and it works! I shall be buying the Pro version anyway for the other features.

    Thanks!

    Hi Rap82, Hi Xootix,
thanks, that is also what I was looking for!
Is there any chance to get the counter in the menu as well?
    Thanks!

    Hi Felixleo,

So this works only for your own cart icon (embed into header), not the cart supplied with this plugin. You are just telling the icon to trigger the side cart functionality with that class.

So for this to work with a counter you’d require your own counter. At least thats how I understand it. Maybe the Pro version does enable embedding this plugins cart, I’m not sure as I havent upgraded yet.

    Hi,
thanks for the super quick response!!
Then I will have to find another way – thanks for the answer!
