Brand to Primary Category map not working

    I have created a custom feed for Facebook Merchant use.

    In the field mapping I have set brand to woocommerce primary product category. See snipboard image.

    But the brand and primary category doesn’t show in the XML feed.

    I have two filters set up. One excluding entries where stock = 0 and the other excluding entries with SKU containing Tilbud.

    Thanks for sending over the debug.log. May I ask why you created a custom feed for Facebook? The Facebook / Instagram channel is available as channel to pick in the configuration drop-down. I suggest you use that as that will load the proper Facebook feed template on the field mapping page.

    The one_category attribute only works when you are using the Yoast SEO plugin, have enabled multiple categories per product out of which one is set as primary category. That primary category will then be used as value for the one_category attribute.

    Thank you for looking into my feed.

    I use RankMath for SEO rather than Yoast. It has a similar primary cat. feature.

    I created the custom feed because I look short description instead of long product description and wanted to map the primary category.

    The one category / primary category construction only works for Yoast so unfortunately it seems you then won’t be able to use this attribute.

    Sorry for replying to this old case, but I have exactly the same issue. How do you come around this problem? I also use the primary category for brand, but we also switched to RankMath.
