    Hello,

The latest update (5.8.3) broke the order status-updates in WooCommerce. The payments were still going through and were received in Mollie but Mollie doesn’t seem to report back to the WooCommerce backend that the payment has been received. So because of this the orders were stuck on ‘waiting for payment’-status and order-confirmation mails weren’t sent.

I’ve got the debug logs but I’d rather mail those instead of posting them for the public to see since they contain some private information.

One of the points listed in the update is: “Fix – Breaks Urls of translations plugins”
I suspect this might be the cause. We use PolyLang to translate our site if that’s of any help.

For now I’ve rolled back the plugin to 5.8.2 and the order-status is updating again and mails are also being sent.

    Kind regards,
    Jan

This bug is still active FYI so to close it and mark it resolved wouldn’t be appropriate I believe. I’ve mailed the log files to the requested address some time ago.

@aweissinpsyde, it seems you’ve also replied to it (on your support site) saying you were going to have a look at it.

The request on your support site:

If you need anything else from me please let me know. If needed I can also provide a test-environment.

    Kind regards,

I have the same issue with latest version of Mollie plugin. Will also send logfiles.

    @mschouten @hitec4ever ,

Just to give you both a quick update, I’ve been in touch with Mollie support on their own website and their developer has got access to my development website.

So sit tight, they’re looking at it!
(For now, if you hadn’t yet, roll back the plug-in to version 5.8.2 with a rollback plug-in or download it manually from: https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/mollie-payments-for-woocommerce.5.8.2.zip)

    – PS @aweissinpsyde
I’ve also put the ticket status back on not resolved seeing how there’s seemingly more people with the problem, now they know it’s being worked on. ??

Great, thanks, hope for the best!

Another update, the ticket on Mollie’s own support page has been updated to ‘In Progress’. So I assume they’ve found where it’s going wrong.

We just run a few tests with only the theme Storefront, the plugins Mollie and WooComnmerce enabled and all is working fine with the latest 5.9.0 version.

We believe that behavior comes from another plugin. Can you please install 5.9.0 and deactivate all other plugins and using the theme Storefront. Additionally, maybe you can set up a staging site and test it there too to be sure.

    Thank you
    Regards

    Hi @aweissinpsyde ,

As I’ve mentioned before on your support site, the problem is that version 5.8.3 of your plug-in broke compatibility with PolyLang. I’m aware that without PolyLang the plug-in does work (I also mentioned this on your support form). So, yes, this behaviour only happens when another plug-in is active. But it worked perfectly fine before the 5.8.3 update.

The changelog of the 5.8.3 update:

    5.8.3 – 09-09-2020
Fix – Apple Pay button is disabled if Apple Pay gateways is disabled
Fix – Breaks Urls of translations plugins
Fix – Translations update endless loop

So to me it seems logically that this second fix (Breaks Urls of translations plugins) actually broke the PolyLang translation plug-in. (I guess this was for WPML or another translation plug-in?). So if the changes for that update could be toggled with a checkbox (Check this box if using PolyLang) or a check in the code which checks if PolyLang is active, or something in that sense, that’d solve it, it seems to me.

    Kind Regards,
    Jan

    Hi @aweissinpsyde ,

Great to hear! I’ll be waiting patiently then. Would you mind updating us here once this update is released? (Right now I’ve disabled auto-updates for the Mollie plug-in as to not break my site again.)

    Kind regards,
    Jan
