I have a a new post type called “projects”, I want to list them all on the page called “/projects”. I cant seem get this page to work in any way. IS there a way to accomplish this?

I’d just set the post type setting for “has archive” be saved as true and let WordPress handle the rest. It’d list them all similar to blog posts, over at /projects/ and you wouldn’t need to create a page for it.

Excellent idea. kinda worked. The page title though: ARCHIVE: PROJECTS

and not being able to add any other content to page is a little troublesome.

Always customized templates available, and I can think of a few ways to potentially get some custom text at the top. Just a matter of familiarity and comfort in getting your hands a little dirty.

Let me know if you need anything. As is, it sounds like you’re on your way.

I do have 1 question. The “featured image”. It appears in the post. Is it possible to stop that from occurring? I want to use, but not directly in the post. I guess I could use some CSS, but wanted to make sure there wasnt something else I could do.

I’m assuming you have that showing on normal blog posts too. We don’t have settings regarding this as it’s all theme/template driven, but you could duplicate single.php into single-projects.php and amend the display through that, to not have it show on the single post type views.
