Does sharing a wishlist allow others to purchase items and have them sent to me?

    If I share my wishlist with family members, will it allow them to purchase any products in my wishlist and have the product sent to me automatically?

    If yes, will the product paid by others appear in my WooCommerce client area as “Paid”?

    I ask because Amazon has a similar wishlist feature, where someone shared his wishlist with me, I paid for one of his items and Amazon sent him the paid item. I want to know if this same feature is included in YITH wishlist (even in the premium version).

    Unfortunately no; we currently do not bundle any “gift list” functionality
    Customer may purchase products from a friend’s/relative’s wishlist, but they will need to enter her/his address to make you ship product to her/him

    If yes, will the product paid by others appear in my WooCommerce client area as “Paid”?

    As I said, we don’t offer any Gift list feature, but if a customer purchases a product from any wishlist, the product will follow usual checkout process, and will of course appear as paid if the payment gateway allows for instant payment

    Hopefully we will add similar feature for Gift list/Wedding list in a future update, but currently we have no ETA for this
