    Hi there,

    Is it possible to link Klaviyo with a normal WordPress installation rather than Woocommerce? I have activated the plugin, added the public API key. I have tried to add the embed code but my theme requires a shortcode. Does Klaviyo provide shortcodes for embedding into certain themes?

    Hi @evieyo,

    We do integrate with WordPress and will automatically insert our tracking snippet into the theme. We do some additional checking inside of our plugin to add WooCommerce specific functionality if the plugin is activated, but it’s not required to utilize our plugin.

    After the installation, are you not seeing our tracking code active on your site? You could test this simply by appending a utm_email=email_address to the url on your site and then checking in your Klaviyo account to see if it came over with an active on site metric. If it did, then it should be set up correctly.
