    @cagsanovic,

    This plugin does not require you to setup certificates to use Apple Pay. Per the plugin’s instructions, all you have to do is click the Register Domain button on the Apple Pay Settings page.

    You’re probably getting that message because you’re testing using private mode in the safari browser. You should be testing in regular mode.

    You can’t compare sites because notice one is in EUR and the other in USD. If your card isn’t setup to accept transactions in EUR you won’t see the button.

    @mrclayton Thanks for your quick reply.

    Yes, I have already clicked “register domain” and its successfully registered it says. In our earlir messages, you replied that the currency shows automatically on user’s region.

    Besides that, I dont think I have a misconfiguration on my safari because that site works on me with Apple pay. I dont know how to do private mode. Also, I couldnt see any currency settings in both settings.

    “If your card isn’t setup to accept transactions in EUR you won’t see the button.”
    I see the button. But problem on after clicking it.

    One thing that I think I must do is maybe the shipping checkbox shouldnt be unchecked because apple pay needs it ?

    @cagsanovic,

    In our earlier messages, you replied that the currency shows automatically on user’s region. That was an entirely different question. That response was in regard to the Apple Wallet showing the currency, it’s unrelated to this question.

    Per my previous response, those two sites are in different currencies so you can’t compare them. You must ensure you have a payment method in your wallet that can accept transactions in EUR. The site which you said the button works is in USD.

    Whether a product requires shipping or not has no bearing on Apple Pay telling you to add a credit card.

    @mrclayton Thanks for your response. I will try with adding usd currency product but there is only euro available here. How can I change ?

    You must ensure you have a payment method in your wallet

    Which wallet are you referring to ? Where can I see the settings of this ?

    You don’t need to make your entire site USD. If your customers will be paying in USD that’s fine. All my responses are specific to your credit card. Just because your payment method saved in the Apple Wallet isn’t compatible with EUR doesn’t mean that applies to everyone else.

    If you want to test though, you need to add a credit card that is valid in Europe.

    @mrclayton Gotcha. Thanks for your response. But I have customers from europe and USA. So how can I add usd based product for them ? (rather then needing them to add usd accepted credit card)

    @cagsanovic

    If you are selling in multiple currencies then you need to install a currency switcher plugin. There are several good ones out there.

    The currency switcher plugin allows your customers to select the currency they want to checkout with. The good plugins check the locale of your customer and automatically show them the currency based on their region.

    -UPDATE-

    I have purchased WooCommerce Multi Currency Premium
    (https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-multi-currency/20948446)

    I have added usd product, and now still the same issue happening. In other website’s shop apple pay works, so we can be sure that its not about my safari or wallet.

    I would really like to know that its about my safari or my shop website. I would be highly appreciate if someone try apple pay on my page

    Any recommandations why this error happens ? You included that I dont need to add certificate on apple’s develoepr dashboard, as the woocommerce plugin is alreading handling it. Maybe I should remove the certificates there becaue its same domain name ?

    Hi @cagsanovic,

    Yes please try removing the certificates from Stripe and then testing again. Let me know once you remove the certs and I will test as well.

    Or should I remove these certificates as well ?

    Sorry to send many messages, it doesnt let me edit my post.

    I have contacted woocommerce and they told me that woocommerce + apple pay subscriptions arent working yet as mentioned here;

    @cagsanovic,

    This Stripe plugin supports subscriptions already so that link you provided is not relevant to my plugin. The fact that the Apple Pay button shows on your page tells me it’s working fine.

    It’s asking you to add a card which is the only issue and that isn’t something I can control within the plugin. It’s purely based on Stripe’s SDK determining that your payment method is not accepted.

    Kind Regards,

    Thread Starter cagsanovic

    (@cagsanovic)

    @mrclayton But what makes me confuse is that all of other websites with same plugin and different currencies work but just my website it asks to add new card. Would you mind if I ask you to try on your part ?
