Form shortcode showing in widget area

    Hi,

    I’ve been using the MC4WP plugin for the past one month in the widget footer area of my website. All seems to work fine, but suddenly the form has disappeared and that place shows the form shortcode.
    I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin but it didn’t seem to work.

    H,

    What kind of widget are you using?
    If it’s a text widget, maybe try html widget or even better, try the MailChimp form widget instead. Maybe something changed in your theme related to executing shortcodes in text widgets.

    Hi Lap,

    The issue resolved after I used the MailChimp plugin, earlier I added the shortcode in the HTML widget, although it worked for some time but suddenly disappeared.

    Anyways everything is working as they should!
