    Hello,
    Updraft is set to backup my database weekly, with remote storage set to Email. The filesize is usually on the order of 6 MB, never more than 7 MB. About once or twice a month I will get the email saying the backup completed, but I will not get the email with the database file attachment. The log file says the backup completed without any errors. The email is not in my Spam folder. Does anyone know what might be going wrong? Thank you!

    Hi,

    To help us find out the cause of the issue, please could you send us a copy of the latest full backup log? This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
    As you are not allowed to post the contents directly here, copy it into an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    This is a log from September 16. I received an email saying the download had been performed successfully, but I did not receive the email with the attached database file.

    It happened again with this week’s database backup. I receive the email saying the backup has been done. The log shows it as finishing without errors, but the file never gets emailed to me.

    The compressed backup file is usually 6-7 MB, which should not present a problem for a the size limitations of a Gmail attachment. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    Hi,

    Can you send me a screenshot of your current backup email reporting settings? This can be found in the “Settings” tab.

    Hi Bryle — Thanks for replying. I decided to give up on the email approach. I changed the backup settings to be sent to my Dropbox. Now I will wait to see if that works.
