Republish post, keep same permalink

  • Hi,

    We have editors that like to re-feature posts from dates in the past. The problem is that the permalink gets updated every time they change the publish date.

    Is there any way to avoid this with a plugin, would I need to adjust my permalinks to be orgranized by a post# instead of month/date?

    Anyone have an idea? Is there anyway to pull a post from the archive without messing up the permalink?
