    Hi,

the csv importer is still not working to import products if you have html in the csv. It will give you an error notice when you try to upload the csv.

When will this finally be fixed?

    Hi there,

    What is the error message?
Which importer are you using? Is it a plugin or the built in one?

“Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons”. It is the native Woo importer, no extra plugin. when I use Real MIME check plugin the uploading works, but I don’t want to use another plugin just for that. This bug has been topic of several threads I noticed…

    Hi again,

Mime types are usually configured on a server level.

Can you upload a CSV file directly into your media library?

@conschneider No I cannot upload the file through the media library, same error. And it is not my server, because WordPress for example also does not allow svg. And I can upload the product csv if I don’t add html. But as soon as I do, the file cannot be uploaded and it displays the not permitted error.

Gotcha. I think somebody needs to some testing with you with your file but that is beyond the scope of this free forum.
