    Hi,

It seems Yoast is not picking up page content. On this landscaping page, see the below screenshots showing the word ‘landscaping’

    Yoast setup:

That word appearing in the (first paragraph of the) page:
    ?Screenshot 2>>

Why is it not picking up the words?

    Hi @sitebites,

We’re sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

There are some special cases where our plugin isn’t able to detect the focus keyphrase in the first paragraph. Usually, when the first paragraph is not the first element in your article (i.e. there is an image before the first paragraph).

This is often the case when you’re using page builder third-party page builders like WPbakery or Divi, etc, our plugin isn’t able to detect the focus keyphrase in the first paragraph. It seems you’re using page builder to edit the page content.

Please, refer to this KB article for more information:?Warning: Focus keyphrase not in the first paragraph.

However, this doesn’t mean that Google and other search engines won’t be able to see it, so if your first paragraph does contain your focus keyphrase, you can safely ignore this warning.
