Show some blog posts on another page.

I am just starting with WordPress, please could you explain things clearly.

I have a static front page, three other pages and a blog page. The blog page shows all of my posts.

One of the other pages is to show my portfolio work on. Is there a way of using the blog posting method to upload images, but not to show them on the blog, but show them on another page?

If you take a look at (it’s not wordpress – I’m converting it) you will notice the blog page and the portfolio page.

Basically, I want some blog posts to not show on the blog page but on the portfolio page instead. Can this be done? Can I do it with showing categories? Something along those lines – hope this is understandable.
