something wrong with logic of “and” and “or”

  • We have a productA which under the CategoryA, CategoryB, I am expecting when user check the product filter CategoryA and categoryB, my productA will show-up, but in fact when user check the product filter CategoryA and categoryB, all products under categoryA and all products under categoryB are showing up, not just the productA, I want to know if this is what the plugin has been designed or am I doing something worng ?

    I want to ONLY display the productA when user check the product filter CategoryA and categoryB. tHANKS

    Hi,

    Since the product A is in Category A and B it will show up by selecting either Category A or B ( or both ), it is not possible to only show the product A if you select both Categories at the same time.

    my understanding is , if select the categoryA and B, then all the product showing up that should be under both category, but now, lots of the product still showing up that only under categoryA or categoryB.

    Hi,

    That is the logical relationship between Taxonomies, you can change it to “OR” in Product Filter Settings: https://share.getcloudapp.com/NQu1k92v to make the products filter apply on multiple selections.

    I’m also having that issue ??
    I have selected “OR” in the settings, but it still showing me the filters of other categorie ??

    I’m filtering by attribute on those attributes are selected on specific products on specific categorie. I.E. Clothing and those products with the categorie Clothing have some attributes that are only for those products, but when I add the filter, the filters for those attrbitures are still showing and when filter, appears the products from other categories.
