• Your plugin incorrectly states that the 4 tables

    wp_bp_messages_messages
    wp_bp_messages_meta
    wp_bp_messages_notices
    wp_bp_messages_recipients

    belong to the bp-better-messages plugin.

This is incorrect, they are core BuddyPress tables as I have just found out to my cost.

  • @petervandoorn Thanks for reporting the issue, I’ll share the feedback with our development team.

I just wanted to second this. Thank you to Peter for properly identifying the issue.

This problem is still occurring in the most recent version of WP-Optimize. Please resolve this before it causes more people problems (thankfully I was very careful and didn’t delete these tables).

Here is an old DB map of BuddyPress that confirms this:

    A word to the wise…

DO NOT ever delete database tables based solely on the [not installed] flag in WP-Optimize. Research every table first to be absolutely sure it is not in use!
