Name of translation file .po

  • Regarding translation, what’s the right name for the .po (and .mo) file? I’m translating Leo theme to pt_PT, I gave the name leo-pt_PT.po and nothing happens…

    Thanks for using our theme.
    No need to add theme name in .po and .mo file name.
    The name of those files depends on the translating language WP Locale name.
    Like you want to translate the theme in Spanish(spain) file name is es_ES.po and es_ES.mo .
