Footer Text Shortcode

  • Hi! Great plugin!

    I just want to know why my shortcode isn’t rendering in the footer text box. Any particular reason? My shortcode works for pages but inside the footer text box it doesn’t render.

    What shortcode are you adding? Have you cleared your cache after adding it?

    Hi @hannahritner,

    Thank you for taking the time to respond, I’m using a custom shortcode that displays a dynamic email address. e.g [client-email] this works everywhere but when I placed this shortcode on the footer credit box it does not render but rather just display “[client-email]”

    is there some sort filter on the footer credit box?

    Hi,
    You can use the “woocommerce_email_footer_text” filter to make a shortcode run inside the footer area of an email.
