I would think there should be a way to do it but I don’t know much about php coding.
I know you could make 2 columns using divs, floated left and right with a list_cats function in each, but you would have to find out how to code something depending on what your intentions are.
Some kind of if this … then that… kind of stuff
If even pages on one side … then odd pages on the other
Or split up by categories, hidden on one side but not the other etc
