I upgraded to 2.9.1 OK, but dashboard is messed up!

  • Although my upgrade went smoothly, and my blog look great, something has made my dashboard really messy. Its not in the normal WP format, its like a long line of links for each action you want to do (write, manage posts, settings, etc).

    Deos anyone what I might have done wrong, and how to fix it??

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?
