Idea/suggestion: Support for links

Hello Alimir,

Would it be feasible to add support for links as content type alongside bbpress and buddypress posts?

I use the plugin link library to let teachers share links to teaching resources. I think it would increase engagement if users were able to vote up links in each category.

Or is this already possible?
