    Hi,

Q1. How can I add a radio button that allows user to select between two images added to an ecard?

Q2. If I use recommended email behavior (show link and image in email), neither of these appears in the email. What to do?

    Could you help?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Q1. The radio button is added automatically. Did you try adding an eCard before submitting the support question?

Q2. Images might not be visible by default in email clients. There is a button in your email client saying something along the lines of “Display images in this email”.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Thanks for a prompt reply!

Q1. Yes I added both the images on the linked page before submitting the question. There is no radio button on the ecard page.

Did you add the images by uploading them or from the Media Library?

Images need to be attached to the eCard post/page. So, if they are not attached, you need to attach them by going into Media Library, selecting List mode (top left icon) and then attaching them one by one.

    Would a shortcode like [ecard id=”1, 2, 3, 4″] help you?

I’ve been meaning to add this enhancement to the plugin for a while, as it makes my life (and yours) easier. “1, 2, 3, 4, 5” are the IDs of the images.

I have added images from the Media Library.

I have attached both the images to the same page as advised by you.

However, (1) the page has no radio button. (2) an extra thumbnail of one of the images appears at the bottom of the images.

You are getting there, the thumbnail image is part of the eCard generated images. But because it’s only one, it doesn’t have a radio button. I assume the second image is not attached to the post, it’s still coming from the Media Library.

Try to upload other 2 images to the post.

Anyway, I will implement the code as above and then you will be able to add any images you need, even from the Media Library.

Expect this update to be live tonight ??

    Thanks for useful insights!

I have added two more images to the post. So there are four images in the post. Media Library shows all four images are attached to the post.

Now I can see three radio buttons in bottom thumbnail row. However, the first image does not appear in the thumbnail row.

I could select the radio button and send the specific card.

Check the update version. You can now use the shortcode below:

    [ecard id="1, 2, 3, 4"]

to add whatever images you want from your Media Library.

Regarding the 4th image you’re missing, that might be the featured image, and I’m excluding it from the eCard. Use the shortcode above and let me know.

    I have removed featured image.

I have successfully used shortcode with image ids.

How can I add reCaptcha:I am not robot to ecard email form to avoid spam?

Thank you very much for useful insights and prompt help!

If you are interested, a new eCard Collections functionality has been added in the PRO version, where you can create Collections and order them either by re-ordering the IDs or dragging the images arround in the Gallery block.
