    Hi

I use two widgets of the plugin with the same settings.

one in the sidebar and another on the footer because I have sidebars in a few posts only.

But they show different results, another number of visitors in the sidebar other on the footer, and the popular posts are a little different.

    How can this be possible?

Don’t ask me about cache and all the usual [word removed by moderator], cache is cleared many times.

Is it going ever to be a software free of bugs? in the 30th century perhaps or never?

    Hi @satsoklgr,

Your comments aren’t really helpful to me as you didn’t provide any details about your setup – and the attitude certainly doesn’t help either.

    Please:

    1. Share your site’s URL so I can have a look.
    2. Share a screenshot of the settings you’re using with each widget.
    3. Share a screenshot of your Debug screen (Settings > WordPress Popular Posts > Debug).

As long as software is written by human beings we will never have bug-free code. You gotta learn to live with that fact and, if you can and are willing to, help developers write better code by sharing suggestions and/or reporting possible bugs.

Yes, that is correct, I was exaggerated.

But I didn’t make any comments, I just described a problem that looks weird, because settings are identical for both widgets, and the plugin’s settings are common.

Thanks. What about the screenshots I asked for to check the settings you’re using with each widget?

    Fixed

Just erased the footer widget and add a new one! the old widget was stuck somewhere in another world.
    These things have no explanation.

Settings for each widget were exactly the same, checked, and triple checked by 6 eyes since yesterday!

Sounds like -wait for it- a caching issue.

Make sure that the Ajaxify widget option is set to Enabled, @satsoklgr (Settings > WordPress Popular Posts > Tools, under Data), then flush Cache Enabler’s cache once to make sure WPP can actually ajaxify its widgets.

That Ajaxify widget option was set to Disabled. Now is enabled.
    It is working anyway.
