Can’t access my site

  • Hi.
    I can access stat page and reader but when I try to write new post I get Fatal error message
    Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/content/84/5392784/html/wp-content/themes/seedlet-wpcom/functions.php on line 164
    Already checked with my hosting platform (Go Daddy) but they say it’s not their issue.
    Admit I was terrible about updating — maybe now I’m paying price! Thanks.

  • Swap out your theme temporarily (I usually use twenty Seventeen for troubleshooting) to find out if it’s the theme causing the problem then if it is causing the problem, ask the theme authors for some help.

    Else, let us know what error or errors you see with the temporary theme.

    Upon swapping out my theme I am now greeted with a new fatal error message that I’ll post below.
