    Hi,

I installed the plugin following all steps and configuration for woocommerce but no data is getting recorded. I used the tag assistant chrome extension from google to find the problem but it says that “No HTTP response detected”. Also somehow there is no script tag on home page but it is on other pages

I don’t have any other extension which does the tracking so dont think it is a conflict issue. Really confused. Please help

    Hi there,

I can see one additional .js file being loaded: https://d.pr/i/eJfQJe
This is the WooCommerce Google Analytics file: https://d.pr/i/AcWgXM

Maybe a manual script or something coming from your theme?

    Kind regards,

    Hi Con,

Thanks for your reply. I checked the src=”https://www.google-analytics.com/plugins/ua/ec.js” file you mentioned. It is not coming from the theme but the google analytics integration only. When I disabled the google analytics integration from the Plugins section, the file went away. Once enabled again, it came back. Is there a setting that is incorrect?

    No data appears in https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web

Looking forward for your reply and thank you for providing help.

    Kind Regards

Thank you for the test and my bad. It is a bit harder to tell from the front end only. If there is nothing tracked at all, I would assume thee is either a conflict or cache blocking the activities.

Are you able to create a staging site where you can do a test with a default theme WooCommerce + WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration only? That way we could rule out other interference.

    Kind regards,

We have the same issues… or yeah i dont know with this file but nothing get recorded for months now!

    Hi there,

To check whether Google Analytics is tracking your site, please access your site on an incognito browser and then test whether Google Analytics’ Real time view detects your access.

    Hi @kosiew @conschneider ,

Sorry for getting back to you so late. I tried to debug via one more plugin, which is https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-analytics-debugger/jnkmfdileelhofjcijamephohjechhna/related?hl=en

I see that the data is getting recorded but gets stopped suddenly in between due to an error “Storage not available. Aborting hit.” while sending to google analytics on first send command ga(“send”, “pageview”)

    Here is a screenshot

Kindly help what should I do. Thank you again

    Hi @kosiew @conschneider

I removed the domain name from the google analytics configuration under “Set Domain Name” field in Woocommerce -> Settings -> Integration and it started recording.

I don’t think this is the correct fix for this problem. Can you please suggest your opinion?

    Thanks,

    Hi @colorrituals

Maybe it was cache related? You can add the domain back to see if the issue is still resolved. If not, just open a new thread and we’ll take a closer look.
