    Good afternoon.
    Plugin not working on WordPress version 5.5.1 with Square (SquarePress) theme, what could be wrong?

    Hi @tiguasha

    That theme uses it’s own function to get an excerpt instead of the native WordPress function, so our plugin can’t affect it since it’s not done the regular way (letting WordPress handle it which allows our plugin to take over).

    But there is a solution. Go to WP admin > Appearance > Customize. Then go to General Settings > Blog Settings. Set the “Blog Content Format” to “Full Content”. Our plugin will then be able to take over and show the excerpt.
