Default selection of cities

Hello

I want to display default selection of specific city or top first city from the dropdown list in the “city” field, upon selecting option from “states” field, instead of placeholder “select an option” as default.

The reason is, I have set conditional fields for cities & if default city is not selected upon page load & shows the placeholder of select an option as default, then I am losing all the conditional fields.

Kindly help on this matter. Thanks!
