Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons

  • I’ve just installed the OSM plugin. I’m running Wp 5.5.1 (the latest version)

    From my WordPress dashboard I go to ‘Media > Add New > Select File’ and specify a GPX file, the file appears to upload but then gives the message:

    “Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons”

    This is despite the fact that the ‘Media > Add New > Select File’ dialogue states: ‘OSM plugin added: GPX / KML’

    Help!

    Télécharge WP Add Mime Types et renseigne l’extention voulu dans “add value”

    exemple pour moi
    gpx = application/gpx+xml
    kml = text/kml
    kmz = text/kmz

    Could you possibly post the precise text of this change and confirm where it goes (I’m assuming it will be wp-config.php) as I am NOT an expert!

    Télecharge et installe le plugin. Puis dans le panneau latéral de wp (à gauche en bas) va dans règlge et clique sur mime types setting. en bas de cette page dans add value colle ce qui suit:
    gpx = application/gpx+xml
    kml = application/text/kml

    tu sauvegarde et ?a marche
