    Good Day!

Per your documentation, I have a child theme with a /sensei folder in it. I have copied the learner-completed-course.php and learner-graded-quiz.php into it. I customized the files and finished a course and quiz and it did not show my customizations. I then tried to add the same folder structure /sensei/templates/emails and placed my custom templates there, tested again, and the emails still did not show my customizations. Please assist!

    Thanks!
    Matt

  • Hi @geekwap ,

In my own testing, I can confirm that this is happening (or not, as the case is :)) to me too.

    I copied learner-completed-course.php and learner-graded-quiz.php to mytheme/sensei.

I’ve asked our developers to take a look when they get a minute, and will get back to you as soon as I have more information for you.

    Best,
    Cena

    Hello Cena,

I’m glad you were able to confirm the issue. Any updates from the developers?

    Thanks!
    Matt

    Hi @geekwap ,

Would you ensure that the files are in mytheme/sensei/emails/? Looks like we may have both gotten the path wrong. ??

I did that and now see the changes I made to learner-completed-course.php, for example: https://cloudup.com/czV5A1NVMps

    Cena,

Okay, so that worked! My problem is, I looked all through the documentation and found nothing that mentions this anywhere! It is not mentioned in the child theming or email areas at all. Please make sure the documentation provides users with accurate and thorough information, so they are not wasting a lot of time and keeping clients waiting. Thank you!

    Enjoy your weekend!

    Hi @geekwap (Matt),

Glad to hear it’s working for you now!

Thank you for the feedback – I agree that should be made more explicit in the documentation. I’ve raised this with our developers, so this should be resolved soon.

    Best,
    Cena
