So when I click on an order and refund to Paypal, the order status will change to refunded/act like it refunded, but there’s no change to the transaction in paypal/the customer isn’t refunded. I had to go in and manually refund, its done this to me a few times today (I had to cancel some orders), I wanted to know what I should do to fix this disconnect, because I’m still able to receive payments from people.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

Just to make sure: Are you PayPal API credentials configured correctly under **WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > PayPal > API Credentials**? I’m asking as that part is directly linked to refunds that are triggered from within WooCommerce.

If it is, can you share a copy of the PayPal debug log as found under **WooCommerce > System Status > Logs** (assuming debug logging was enabled at the time the refund was processed)?

@riaanknoetze Yea they should be configured correctly since I’m able to receive payments and its every other order (some people get their refunds others don’t, it’s been doing this past two days). How do I turn on debugging mode?

I have noticed that some paypal refunds go through the others say it has to be done manually, like there are two buttons, and the ones not going through are the manual ones. I think its not a glitch but don’t know why it has that option when they purchased through paypal

Hi @fyrakins. Sorry that we missed your last response.

Which PayPal payment gateway(s) are you using on your site? Please share your system report with me. You can find it by going to WooCommerce > Status > Get system report and then click Copy for support to be able to paste it in your reply.
