Blank Page when editing posts after update

That’s very weird. Can you reinstall the plugin just to make sure it’s not because of some install with installation?

Let me know how it goes so we can investigate further.

I’ve disabled the Main Gutenberg plugin and it worked. The error happened after both plugins updated.

Got the white page for post editing too, after updating day before yesterday. Took me some time to find this update to be the cause of the trouble.

Same thing here. I’m using Neve theme and WordPress nightly. I have to disable the plugin to be able to create a new page or post at the moment.

What do you mean by “Main Gutenberg plugin”? The Gutenberg plugin or Otter Blocks?

Please give us more info and we will fix it. We aren’t able to reproduce it now.

I’ve one clue. Can you disable the Gutenberg plugin and see if it works? @ernieswp @enderandrew

It happens for me and we’re working on an update.

@hardeepasrani “the” Gutenberg plugin, i’ve said “main” because otter blocks still work without the plugin. When i disable either otter or gutenberg, post editing/creation works.

@enderandrew I’m using neve too.

@tiagoalvesdasilva Yea, so Gutenberg has removed some functions in their latest version which is causing it. We’re working on it and will release a new version soon.

I don’t have a Gutenberg plugin. It may be because I’m running the nightly dev version of WordPress (to always get updates for exploits nightly). I think Gutenberg is just a built-in core component of 5.6.

@enderandrew Yea nightly will have the latest Gutenberg so that’s why. You switch to a stable version if it’s your primary website. If it’s just for testing then you can wait for few days.

They’ve removed it __experimentalReusableBlocks() which existed in previous versions, so we’re working on solving how we can keep the same functionality without this.

Let me know your thoughts.

We’ve solved it in development and we will release an update in a couple of days along with few other things.

Hi, have you done the update yet as I’m still having to disable “Gutenberg Blocks and Template Library by Otter” every time I want to post or edit. Many thanks, Liza

The update is in the works. It’s currently being tested phase and will be released as soon as testing is done. It will be a couple of days only. I’ll ping you here once it’s out.
