Registration Form with extra user fields

    Hi, I added additional user fields to the registration form (click link to see form).

    When I preview the form the added fields are there. When I actually load the registration form on my site, the added fields are not there.

    I set each added field to be included in the my-profile page for users. But there too the added fields do not show up.

    Only the fields that are part of the wordpress user profile by default are visible.

    Any suggestions?

    Well the new form showed up 8 hours later so I don’t understand it. I am not using any caching plugin on my site; so …. ???

    And every single time a new member registers to my site successfully and login they get this message when accessing their profile:

    There are no profile fields to edit. Profile fields are added by admin to individual User Groups.

    The profile page is basically blank and the ‘forum’ menu option is also missing (I have bbPress installed).

    Please advice;

    Figured it out.

    Thanks anyway.

    This may be relevant to other people trying to do the same thing.

    What was the problem? And, what was your solution?
