    Hi,

I use OceanWP for my desktop theme and I use WPTouch for mobile. Within WPTouch, I use a theme called Bauhaus. In themes, I have OceanWP selected. When I customize it and switch to mobile, I am able to modify my mobile theme (Bauhaus via WPTouch).

I would like to create a child theme for OceanWP so that I can add some things to the header and have it be persistent. I used this child theme to start : https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/90-sample-child-theme

I zipped that up and installed it. However, wordpress tells me ‘The parent theme could not be found. You will need to install the parent theme, Bauhaus, before you can use this child theme.’ – but bauhaus is my mobile theme.

Any idea how to get this to work?

    Thank you!

I turned off WPTouch Pro, for a variety of reasons and I’ll try creating a child theme again with it turned off. If I have an issue, I’ll post again but I suspect it was just another issue with WPTouch Pro.
