Has there been any update on this issue? As of 10/27/2020, the issue is still active. One of my clients who operates a rather large Woocommerce store has now lost a substantial amount of money because she relies on her product variations to work correctly.
Example of today’s issue: One of her customers purchased two of product variation #2 that cost $110.99 each. Subtotal should have been $221.98. On the order screen, it shows the correct variation name but does not include the variation ID. Because the ID is missing the customer was only charged for two of variation #1 which was only $59.99 each. Subtotal = $119.98.
We have it set up that orders over $150.00 receive free shipping, in this customer’s order they were not charged for shipping because the order subtotal should have been $221.98. I went through all the basic debugging steps before finding this post. Woocommerce is updated to it’s latest version.
This does not happen with every order containing a variation.
I am following the issue on GitHub https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/27756
But this issue was set to “low priority” and it should be a very high priority as a lot of store owners are losing money in an already difficult time. Please make this issue a high priority issue. Thank you so much!
