I use your wonderful plugin on many websites with no issues, but I am having a problem with one site not showing the image alt’s. I am trying to be as ADA compliant as possible so having alt text show is very important.

When I disable the meow gallery plugin, the alts then display correctly in the default wordpress gallery. Re-enable meow gallery and they disappear again. I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin. I have disabled all plugins and it makes no difference.

I have this problem on only one website. Other sites using identical plugins and the same theme (Divi) show the alts properly. So why the alt text doesn’t show on this one has me baffled.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi – any possibility of getting some help with this problem?

    Hi,

I have no idea about that, because the plugin definitely uses the ALT fields. What’s special about this website? Maybe the ALT fields aren’t really the original WP fields?

Hi Jordy! All the images have alts – we painstakingly went through each image in the media library making sure they had alts.

When I disable the meow gallery plugin so it uses the default wordpress gallery, the alts then show up. The only thing that makes this site different from my other websites is that we used foogallery before I found your awesome gallery plugin.

I assumed that something in foogallery was causing the problem, so I before deleting the plugin, I used their option to wipe all settings which supposedly makes it like the plugin was never there. But that didn’t solve the issue.

I can provide a screenshot showing the alts showing and then not showing in the inspector if it helps.
