We’ve got a site setup with woocommerce and foo events, as well as Divi for themes. We open a registration process for a few days in a week and then close it prior to the event. We have found that the link to the actual page works fine most of the time, but then randomly gives 404 errors. The link is https://register.vineyardchurch.com.au/product/sunday-gatherings/

I’ve seen many people talk about going in and resetting permalinks, and that worked for some reason even though they have not changed. What I further found out is that you don’t even need to reset permalinks, but simply logging into the site via the /wp-admin page seems to make it work once more. We’re hitting a brick wall with troubleshooting this and when we had registrations opened a week back it worked fine for 3 hours then gave the 404, and then once logged into wp-admin, it worked fine for the remaining time until we closed it. Need help to understand what is going on please.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @waynesmall
Currently the page is working for me at least.
Issues like this may be caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. You can read more about plugin and theme conflicts here:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/

The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to do the following:

    1. Temporarily switch your theme back to the Storefront (https://www.woocommerce.com/storefront/) or TwentyNineteen (https://www.ads-software.com/themes/twentynineteen/) Theme.
    2. Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce.
    3. Test to see if the issue has been resolved.

If that resolves the issue, then one-by-one you can switch back your theme and re-enable your plugins, testing in between, until you find the one causing the conflict.

If doing this on your live site is not possible, can you create a duplicate site? We suggest using WP Staging (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/) if your hosting provider does not offer a staging server as an option.

I hope that helps you to figure it out.
Feel free to get back to us if you have further questions.

Hi @waynesmall. We haven’t heard from you in a while so I’m going to go ahead and mark this thread as resolved. If you still need help with this issue or have any other questions about the WooCommerce plugin, please start a new thread.

apologies for the delay. We’ve actually found that just going to the Permalinks page itself WITHOUT SAVING anything appears to “fix” the issue.
We have turned off DIVI on the page in question and it still gives us these errors.
We don’t have the option to turn off all the other plugins as it would affect functionality….
