Neither updates nor deletes

    Dear Support,

    Akismet refuses to update nor gets deleted.

    During update it cites following error: “An error occurred while updating Akismet Anti-Spam: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions. _inc”.

    When I try to delete it cites this error: “Could not fully remove the plugin akismet/akismet.php.”

    Can you please help resolve this? I can either update or delete. I’ve kept both options open.
