Scheduling sale prices is not the best thing to do in woocommerce, why isn’t there a way to schedule item for X hours instead of full days?

Anyways, I have scheduled multiple products and I have noticed that when logged out, the timer is different that when I’m logged in, I assume this is something related to timezones, how can I make them match even though I have my store defaults to the same timezone im in right now.

    2) IMPORTANT, im not sure if this is how sale works but It seems weird, if its specific for me please inform me. I have scheduled a sale price and at end date, the price just switched to the sale price without returning to the regular price, it didn’t even show both prices but only the sale price as the regular price, cron jobs are working correctly if that would help. Updating product didn’t change it back too.

    Thank you!

P.S: WP cron is disabled, but I have linux cron doing its job every 30 minutes, this has to be causing some errors, confirm if possible, thanks.

Would running linux cron everyday at 12AM kind of solve this? do I have to run it more than one time, since I’d be having multiple products with scheduled prices.

    Appreciated.

According to WP-Control wc_scheduled_sales() is set an hour earlier at 23:00, I believe this occurred after changing the time zone settings an hour back(for daylight saving), this might solve the prices issue, but why do timers show differently when logged out than logged in, my computer, browser, and wp settings are all the same. The server time is UTC, wordpress is UTC+2. The time difference shown before and after logging out is 5 hours. They don’t sum up. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi @omb993,

Any chance it could be related to server caching? It’s not unusual when there is a difference in the site when logged in/out for caching to be responsible for that.

    Just a thought!
