Question on putting WP on my root.

    Hey everyone,

    I am trying out WordPress and got the layout that I wanted and everything, but I am having trouble when it comes to the url of my blog.

    Under my current host, I run two websites. The first of which is located on the root directory. The second site runs in its own separate folder and is simply directed to that site without the root url in the address.

    However, when I set up wordpress, I am getting this when it comes to links: root.com/siteinfolder.com. Is there any way to change this up in the settings so my root address isn’t apparent with my site located in a separate folder?

    I know its a little confusing and will clarify things if anyone doesn’t know what I’m saying.
