Fixed coupons doesn’t cover shipping fee

Hi there,

I was searching for this issue the whole day but couldn’t find a solution.
When offering a fixed cart coupons to my customers, the coupon covers only cart’s subtotal without the shipping fee although the coupon amount is greater than the order total (including shipping fee) and that is something quite annoying to the customers since they have a voucher and they shouldn’t be paying anything if the order total could be covered with that voucher.

I’ve found two topics with this matter but they both have the same answer from you side referring to a plugin that hasn’t been updated in the past 4 years and there are reports that it doesn’t work properly.
