In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Newbie to CSS<span class=”highlight-1″>Geoeffnet</span>
<span class=”highlight-2″>Geschlossen</span>EWWWWW! Looks like HTML and CSS are getting confused…
” The Tag Groups plugin will not be able to automatically group tags by month. You always have to sort them manually into groups. ”
I just assumed that. When I use the widget in Content Aware Sidebars, I GET-ALL-TAGS. What I want to do, is build a tag-cloud specific to this page. I think I will
need to enter the tags manually. How? I have not figured out how to do this.I like the idea about the text-widget and shortcode. If that works, then I should
be able to use Content Aware Sidebars to display the tag-cloud via the text-widget.
Soooo, where do I enter the tags/words for the tag-cloud?? OH! I am using the
free version. The ver number is 0.45Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Graphing Data in the TablePossible solution to graphing problem…
An extract option. Extract $col_a and display it here; then extract $col_b
and set it here.
Each time I can then take the data and drop it in my code (or program/app)
and have it plotted and/or compiled to PNG format.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Graphing Data in the TableYou did not answer the Q:
Is there a nice way to grab col $a and col $b
and drop them into an other window?I have the WP QuickLatex code that works; I just need to get at the data
and hack that block of code up.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Graphing Data in the TableDOH!
Just a thought: Is there a nice way to cut the data in cols $a and $b
and drop them into WP QuickLatex and have Latex-TikZ do the work?
I can compile Latex-TikZ/PGF to PNG and embed the resulting PNG in my
page…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Graphing Data in the TableOK. Ideas then?
Is there another way to read this data from the table and plot it?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Graphing Data in the TableIf there is one thing I noticed about this TablePress add-on:

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Back Ground ColorI am just starting to learn how to “style” tablepress tables using CSS
(WHAT A PAIN).1) Is there a way to set global vars so I don’t need to reset the var every time?
2) Is there a way to set background color for an entire COLUMN or ROW?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP QuickLaTeX] Cannot connect to QL serverI just tested my plugin — works fine.
I must turn off “Insert Math” and turn on “WP QuickLatex”.
They conflict. As for ISP, get to a shell and enter: ping <foo> .
Where <foo> is the IP adress of the target machine.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [WP QuickLaTeX] Latest Version is BrokenI made the change ‘>’ to ‘=>’ …
I wrote down a detailed description in-case I screwed it up.
JUST FROM CONTEXT:array(
…
…
‘width’ => null //
‘eqlabel > null //
);The ‘>’ shows up.
THANKS. That should fix several problems.
I DO HOPE someone in “development” sees this, and checks/fixes this bug.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP QuickLaTeX] Still can’t get QuickLatex to workI called Bluehost about cURL. Disabling it requires root access.
Does anyone have a set of php variables that work so I can try setting them?
I need to “upgrade WordPress”. I don’t want to do this until QuickLatex is working.
Thats like adding an error to an error. ERRORS COMPOUND.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP QuickLaTeX] WP-QuickLaTeX stopped workingHEY “tangentspace”
I found your comment about changing host interesting.
Can you get .htaccess, .user.ini; and php.ini so I/we can see what
setting is messing this thing up on Bluehost?I changed to PHP v 7.1; I have also discovered that ‘QuickLatex’
conflicts with ‘Insert Math’.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP QuickLaTeX] Still can’t get QuickLatex to work1) I don’t think black hats can use phpinfo() to hack the server unless they
“jiggle the knob” and learn that it exists. I set the perms to 611. Even a SE
can’t get to it, since it is not allowed to read it.2) I called Bluehost about cURL. To disable it requires root access.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
I have another idea about a graph I want to build. TikZ is great for this stuff.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP QuickLaTeX] Still can’t get QuickLatex to workI made the phpinfo page like the instructions said.

In reply to: [WP QuickLaTeX] Still can’t get QuickLatex to workThank you so much.
I whacked the ql-cache once and got in trouble. Luckily I had a recent backup.
You learn this when you screw a *NIX system (I ran NetBSD for 12yrs).I will try the phpinfo page tomorrow. It looks easy.
