In 2019 I have tested updraft backup plugin. I was not satisfied with this plugin and deinstalled the plugin.
Nevertheless the cron tried every month to make a backup and reports that there is an out of memory error. Because the ‘updraft email log’ goes to an not often used mail-adress, it was not recognized.
In meantime there are more than 2,7 mio records in our *_options table and the total size of the installation is 830 MB and so I fear that we run out of the total database size of 1GB.
I’m not an WordPress guru! Can somebody help me!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay.

This issue suggests that some version of UpdraftPlus is still installed on the site.
No backup attempt can be run if the plugin is not present.

Do you have a test or staging site on the same server? If so, I would recommend checking that site for UpdraftPlus.

UpdraftPlus should not be adding any further records to your database, beyond its options. However, you may find our other plugin WP-Optimize useful in reducing the size of the database.
