That sounds like a conflict with another plugin that probably interacts with the output buffer as well. You will have to disable other plugins one by one and see which one is causing the issue. Once you find it, let us know and we will check if there’s something we can do on our end ??

It is not a conflict.
The problem does it on several of my sites and is solved by removing the “all contents” checkbox but leaving Post content, Comments and All widgets.

Unfortunately, many links are not treated.
Example:
