Issue on plugin Update

    Hello
    I have updated the plugin to the new version. I have also bought the pro plugin and created new files inserted in my child theme as lineguides.
    After the new update I have lost all my customizations in the theme. If I rollback everything is ok. I would like to be able to update the plugin to last versions in future. Do you have some suggestions? Thank you

    Incredibly sorry for the unexpected trouble.

    That’s why it’s strongly recommended keeping a full site backup if you will troubleshoot, upgrade, downgrade any of your plugins/themes/WordPress_Verison. If you did the customization on the core plugin, it would get reverted once any plugin update happens. So if you have any previous backup, please restore that from backup unless there is no other way to restore that customization.

    luckly with Rollback everything was fixed but I can’t still upgrade to last version of plugin.
    I have not customized the plugin but I have edited it copying the files from the plugin and inserting it in my Child Theme (as you suggest in your guidelines) and still have troubles with updates.
    Do you have some suggestions?
