Blank White Screen on Everything Except Homepage

    Hey guys.

    So I just updated my Main Domain on my Hostgator hosting account, as a result, I had to move the contents of one of my WordPress blogs to a new folder in my public_html folder. It’s still under the same domain, just I had to move all the files to a new folder.

    Anyway, I can still access the homepage, that loads fine, but any and all internal pages (including wp-admin) are just blank white screens.

    Bump number 2.

    Still broken, can’t find a fix. Sorta annoying because my site has pretty much been down this whole time, anyone have any ideas?

    Anyone? So far I’ve reuploaded all of the WordPress files, didn’t work. I also replaced the database with a recent backup and that didn’t work either.

    It appears that 95% of pages/posts are showing only a blank white page, while the home page and a very few pages/posts are showing up.

    Help apprecaited.

    My first idea is to point out that your premature bumps aren’t helping. Most volunteers here start by looking for posts without replies… you bumped yourself out of that list in under two hours. Patience, my friend.

    In all that bumping, you neglected to include a link to your site. That is often very helpful. Without it, we’re all just guessing.

    So here’s my guess: Does the problem still happen if you set the Permalinks back to Default?

    Have you checked your web server’s error logs? Anything helpful in there?

    Sorry about the bumping. Thanks for the reply, too.

    Anyway, I can’t get into wp-admin to change the permalinks, its a blank screen. Also nothing recent in the error logs that would point to anything wrong.

    The site is https://forthelose.org. As you can see, the homepage works. However, every other page is blank, except for a select few. (EG- the “WP Themes” page located at the top right)

    Appears to be a canonical url issue, https://forthelose.org resolves, https://www.forthelose.org does not. I had a Client with a similar issue with Hostgator two weeks ago, Support was able to fix it, but I’m not sure what they did, because the Client contacted them. Give Hostgator Support a shout

    Thanks for that suggestion, I emailed Hostgator support, I’ll report back what they tell me.

    It was wp-cache causing the issue. The Hostgator tech removed the line calling for it in wp-config and all was well.
