    hello again!
I was using ur plugin and it helps a lot with my project. well done!

is it possible to make the background image of a mark in a different size?
I’m sure u decide to cut it into 300PX width because of performance.

nevertheless, the resizing making the image very poor quality, especially on mobile.

it will be better to let developers decide the balance between performance and quality.
it means, that I will have the option to determined the image dimensions in the thumbnail.

    here is an explainer video:

    tnx!

    Hi @dudurom,

Very glad to hear you are finding Waymark useful ?? This is a good question and yes my thinking was to optimise for file size, but I agree that it is a balance.

The image that is displayed in the popup is the “medium size” image that the WordPress Media Library generates. This can be changed in Settings > Media > Medium size. Increasing these dimensions will increase the resolution of image in question, however it will do so only for new uploads.

(Technically it would be possible to re-generate these images, but there might be some issues in doing so as image URLs may change without Waymark being aware… so care would need to be taken).

I will add this to the “to do” list, as I agree that it would be nice to have better control over this.

    Cheers,

    Joe
