    Hi,

This plugin was already installed when I took over this website and all was fine until today. I figured out that there are forms that the previous web designer created and I added one to a registration page. All seemed fine until about an hour later. The site went down completely. It was discovered while testing that this plugin caused it.

Can anyone advise? I do have the latest version.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @lbrashear

Are you able to disable the customization made by the previous developer?

I’m nervous about re-enabling it because the site could go back down.
It’s really weird, too. The plugin was enabled for all of the months that I have had the new site live. But yesterday I added shortcode to a registration page. Even then, it did not break. It was later, when I was trying to fix button colors and possibly at the same time, the owner was adding an image. That is when it crashed. It was giving a “too many redirects” error.

    Hi @lbrashear

Could you please check if there are any PHP error logs related to UM from your server? this will help us do further investigation.

I just looked at the log and there are no entries that go back as far as the date when I last had the plugin enabled.

    Hi @lbrashear

    Sorry for the late response.

Are you able to provide the custom codes so we can review it?

I’m not sure what custom codes are but I did make a screenshot of the settings before disabling the plugin

    That is all I have.

    Hi @lbrashear

I’m nervous about re-enabling it because the site could go back down.
Is this a custom code or just a configured setting? Only custom codes could make your site down but you’ve sent the Form settings. Where do you re-enable the previous designer’s code/settings?

    (@lbrashear)

That is the setting that I copied before disabling the plugin.
I do not know where custom codes are found.
Under the Ultimate Member heading I have “dashboard” “settings” “forms” “user roles” and “extensions”
Since I did not set this all up, I am unfamiliar with things.
I have re-enabled the plugin on a staging version of the site.
It does not break unless I add the form shortcode to the registration page.
I just tried adding it again and the staging site did not break this time.

I take it back. It later did break. It causes too many redirects

    Hi @lbrashear

Could you please check your theme’s function.php file if there are custom codes added there? You can paste it here so we can review and find the custom code.

Thanks, I had to go with something that was made for the use intended. I appreciate your help in trying to make this work!
