Yes: Payment methods are separate from shipping methods in WooCommerce. Practically speaking, this means your customer can pay for their order online immediately and *then* pick it up later.

no what I’m trying to say. if pick up from store shipping method selected, then the client must pay online. therefore, the only payment method that will be displayed or available is online payment. can we do this on checkout? if yes, can I control it from the backend in the payment method or shipping method?

the first screenshot is disabling the payment gateway and I don’t want that! I want to disable cash on delivery if local pickup is selected as the second screenshot. I will try the second one and get back to you. I don’t want to pay for the extension.
