new install can’t use html editor or media buttons

  • Installed a second copy of WP on a subdomain with it’s own database.
    In the post and page editors, when I click on the html editor tab nothing happens. Nor is there a response when I click on the add media tabs such as pics or vids in the visual editor.

  • Try re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Having the same(?) problem. Tried the above suggestion, to no avail. Theme is Atahualpa. It was working for the first few days, but now when I click on existing posts/pages or attempt to Add New, the editor shows all HTML options only, appears to be on the “Visual” tab, and won’t let me edit in HTML.

    So.. any other suggestions?
