Problems Masonry input as Author

    Hallo,

    When I use a simply masonry block as a user with only Author rights, the page that is generated is corrupted.

    I make a test post with inside just 1 simply masonry block and I do that as user with Administrator rights it is ok. When i do the same as a user with only Author rights I get a page with code in front on screen. (see link)

    When I then go back into the same Post, I see a first text stating: This block contains unexpected or not correct content.

    Any idea’s why this is?

    Hello
    In order for the gallery blocks to work on the Multisite network, the user creating the gallery must have the right to publish unfiltered_html. By default, only the Network Administrator has this right, so only a user of this type can create galleries and edit them without problems.

    Ok, this is not a solution for our needs.
    So we will remove your plugin and look for another that can.

    Hi,

    Sorry then I misread your answer. I got the idea that for a Author it never would be possible to publish unfiltered_html. But I now understand what you are saying is: it can, only not by default. Searching I found a way to add the unfiltered_html as WordPress Core capabilities for the Author role.

    So that would mean that if I try that, it might work. Sorry not into that level of WordPress and got the idea that we would have to go look for a plugin that did a simple masonry for Authors.

    there are many different plugins for editing user experience (absolutely free).

    after expanding the rights, it is better for the author to recreate the block, because the old block could make an incorrect entry in the post and will cause errors
