    Here is the site I am working on for my brother.

    How do I…
    1. move the transparent horizontal menu band down behind the menu bar.
    2. The header at 800 pixels is wider than the body. In the past i was told this is from copying text from Word but I put all the text in a txt editor and made it plain text clearing formatting. How do I fix it now?
    3. Remove RSS feed symbol on the side
    4. Any way to center the menu bar pages in the bar?

  • Lots of questions here, but let me answer with a unrelated resource: download the Web Developer toolbar Firefox extension. Use Outline->Outline Current Element to troubleshoot design iterations. You may be able to figure these out yourself.

    Seems to create an error. all the styling disappears when I use edit CSS to try to see what to change.

    Hmm. I’m sorry it’s not working for you. I usually just use outline elements, rather than the CSS debugging tools. I just keep trying stuff until it works, but then again I’m kind of a hack.
